Lynda Calabrese studied fine arts at The School of Visual Arts, in NYC. She chronicles her life in paintings and three dimensional forms as well as poems. Lynda has led poetry workshops for adults and teenagers at Queens College in Charlotte, NC, local high schools and in her home. Working with City at Peace, she helped students from diverse backgrounds tell their stories. She taught art and poetry at A Child's Place, a transitional school for homeless children. Her play, Dodo's Introduction To The End was staged at The Children's Theater of Charlotte as one of the winners in the New Works For Kids Contest. Her chapbook, On The Cusp Of Something Else was published in 1994 by Sandstone Publishing. She lives an enriched life of unbounded love and art with her husband and hiking buddy extraordinaire, Vinny.
